• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good to know

Thanks for doing the legwork on the ryker. I am sure there are many interested in purchasing one and this will give them more info to fuel the desire...

Thanks, Joe.

Please explain "Rally Mode will not engage if passenger foot pegs are down or will disengage if passenger pegs are put down once in Rally Mode" I don't know what "foot pegs down" means.

If you have a passenger seat it comes with fold down foot pegs for the passenger, if they are down for the passenger Rally mode will not work, they must be in the folded up position

I thought the driveshaft was maintenance free??

I imagine it has a rear drive gearbox at the wheel which probably needs the oil changed periodically. I have owned many shaft drive motorcycles over the years and none of them have been maintenance FREE. Low maintenance yes, maintenance free no. The shaft itself may be good, but gearboxes and possibly U-joints need attention at some point. At 30,000 miles most riders won't touch it for many years anyway. BMW tried the sealed never needs maintenance rear drive once and it didn't work out well. If it moves sooner or later it is going to need attention of some type.

Nobody asked you to read this thread if you did not want to. It clearly stated REVIEW
