• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker handlebars won't lock-in aligned with bracket! Any adjust?

Hi everyone! Just bought a 2020 Ryker Rally. How far toward you should the handlebars lock in? Mine won't lock in aligned with the bracket. Is that normal?
If not , is there a way to adjust them? Any advice or how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

There’s a little screw on top that takes a flat headed screwdriver. You can adjust the lock on the handlebars so it will go down and lock in place easier or harder, maybe you need to loosen it a little so it will lock down easier, and align with the bracket. It’s ass backwards from what you would think, if I remember right. If you screw it down, it loosens the lock.

I believe there are notches (positions) along that locking surface so you may not be able to pull the handlebars to the full limit for the notch to line up?

Thank you, Yes it won't let me lock them in the last notch. It will just pull back to the 2nd notch. Maybe wires holding it from pulling all the way front?

yeah, it could be a wire harness holding you back. You could call dealer and ask their advice on it. They may suggest bringing it in to take a look at it.

If it is the wires, remove the 8 pushpin fasteners and pull the panel in front of the handlebars forward to access the wire harness on each side.

Do not think glove box removal is necessary, but I do not have a photo with only that top panel removed.

On my Ryker the backside (towards me) of the handlebar stem sits about .100 of an inch forward from the backside of the rail. That's as far back the handlebars will go without using a Rox Riser. (I use one) It's tilted back maybe about 40 degrees. I move handlebars forward to fuel up. https://www.amazon.com/Rox-Speed-FX...d=1594222415&sprefix=rox+riser,aps,174&sr=8-2

Mine is flush, adjusted full rear.
Adjusted it (and foot pegs full forward) at the dealer and have not touched it since.

Maybe my rail was from cavity #4 in casting mold, and machined on 2nd shift. Maybe yours was from cavity #7 and machined on 1st shift! Slight difference is noted. The reach may be the same though. By the way that gouge on tank lid is from helmet lock mounted wrong. New lid is in basement, unpainted, along with new frunk lid & center panel. Hope you don't mine. I took a screen shot of your picture and posted it for a side by side comparison
