• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker Gas Cap

I have one in the mail coming to me right now. Not really sure why I bought it because I think the risk is so minimal but it was another Farkle; so, I said what the heck.

I don't have a Ryker, so I can only pass on the experiences of other riders. Maybe the picture with the Gates Fuel Cap in a Ryker will help you.

I didn't realize that these caps are designed especially for the newer cars and trucks with 'capless' fuel filling. I'm not sure I'm ready for one but we will see. They are cheap enough......

If someone IS looking to do Harm to your Ryker that is Not going to stop them- They could Snip a exposed wire and your Dead in the water? Unless someone is a Ryker owner they wouldn't have a clue as to where the fuel filler is?

McRuss, it doesn't go deep enough to push the valve (shiny silver flap) down. Just put one on mine & fits/works fine. Only problem is one more key to carry.

Sarge707, that was my thinking all along. Not only that, I doubt that many people even know the sequence necessary to start one of these things. I feel it's pretty to secure for that reason alone. But despite all of that, I bought one of these locking gas caps anyways. As a matter of fact, it's in my mailbox right now. I have to get home to retrieve it and slap it on. I never said I was smart.

I wish my GW had a capless gas tank filler. I find it a pain messing with the cap in this day and age. I feel the same about adding a parking brake lock. Try pushing a Ryker and see how far you get. I have insurance for a reason. cueman

Nothing at All wrong with using it!!! I only drive the Local area so no need for me.

I bought one for my wife's Rally because I was looking for a simple solution to prevent dirt and debris from getting into the gas tank. The locks is just a bonus...

It works! Saw a You Tube video showing it. I ordered one recently from Rock Auto for $13 including shipping, and it should arrive soon.

Hi mcRuss the cap doesn't pas the "the tank valve " and should not , or it will open it up to fumes it's a nice piece of worth while kit and not at BRP prices! Regards Nico 75

Hi Sarge707 not even Fort Knox is safe ( bond movie) the cap will stop some scumbag dropping s..t in regards Nico 75
