• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker 600 shuts off while idle

After riding, then leaving the Ryker idle in my driveway, the radiator fans kick on after a few mins. Then some loud beeps occur with the digital gauge displaying the word "STOP". Then the bike shuts down. At the time this happened, the temp gauge showed normal, and no other lights were illuminated. I also can't find any reference to this in the manual.

Could this be heat related? The radiator is clear of any debris, and I've recently washed the bike.

I would think if you burped the gas it would see that there's some one on there and not shut off!

I rode in stop and go traffic for 3 hours (its the norm around NY and NJ) mine shut off same way OP describe. Not knowing what was happening got bit nerves fortunately it starts right back up without hesitation. On the next round I learn that if you move just little it won't shut off at all.

Wow .. how is that gonna workout for the rider at a long traffic signal?

Will be at idle with brake on showing rider present & not be a problem, if u find a light that long. Stuck at a train however :sour:& you apply parking brake to relax your foot:dontknow::dontknow: probably a cooling issue & preventative programming for nanny. Sorry not very knowledgeable about the CVT abilitys & limits yet.
