• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryde your Spyder and get fit!

I have the new Charge 2 Fitbit, which also has a barometric sensor. It detects changes in altitude in order to measure flights of stairs climbed.

For the record, the OP was intended as satire.
I think a "tongue-in-cheek" emoji would be very useful, as it would tip off readers to not take the post seriously.

Sheesh.

:D I thought it was funny...
But I sometimes get a chuckle or two out of the Obituary Section!
:joke::joke::joke:

I remember all of that...
I think that you were looking over at MY bike, and wondering if I'd notice, if my Frunk disappeared! :yikes:

Joe wears his Fitbit on his dominant arm so he logs steps when riding, I wear mine on my left arm and it doesn't register any extra movement for me.

:agree:SOO true! Fyi after my "incident" TBI injury where I was in a coma for 2weeks & few months of therapy afterwards I lost over 100 lb.'s in of weight most of it was muscle mass from lack of use. My recovery therapy could cover most major muscle groups but I did not get my mass back until I was able o resume ryding again because there was no therapy that could duplicate that muscle movement in a hospital :p I go back now to visit the staff to give thanks & show them my progress. All are in shock, they were amazed Then, but now they are just flabbergasted. (Fyi I was BAD off & should not be alive is a mild statement ). Look in my albums for a reference idea pic. :2thumbs:

The reason I wasn't smiling in that Pic was ..... I had just lost my " FRUNK " somewhere and Machingunner was kind enough to point that out :yikes::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:....... Mike
what the heck happened too the front ?

Today was a beautiful day here in NC, so I made a nice trip down east on the RT. Did a total of 265 miles. Strange thing, I didn't rack up any additional steps on my RT (which is manual). On my RSS (which is se5), I add about 1000 steps for every 30 miles that I ride. I know the RT rides a lot smoother, but I never would have guessed there was that much of a difference.

Goodness me, I don't think that i ever saw a thread on any blog that started with such humorous and innocent intent, illicit so much drama. Dang it seemed cute, harmless fun and sunk into the mire of heated debate.
:yikes:
I know most of us are "old", present. Ompamy excluded of course but come on people lighten up.
:joke:

This is was fun for a bit as it was intende by the instigator, then the post of strapping it to a 2 1/2 year old or the Spyder exercising itself, all good fun how could you possibly take it in a serious vein?

Life is too short to be that serious about a humorous note, live laugh, love, but mostly love, that one isn't the most fun, like love to Ryde my Spyder! Booyah!

Joe
