Ryde to the Movies -- Gulf Coast SpyderRyders

As you all know we have trying to have a group ryde each month -- in June we are proposing a Ryde to the Movies.

In conjuction with the BRP event in California we thought it would be a good idea to get together as a group and go see the new Transformer movie on Saturday 27 June 09.

So here is the proposal - meet at Pensacola side of the 3 Mile Bridge (for Pensacola, Milton, Pace and Gulf Breeze Resident) for Alabama residents we can get suggestions of places to meet you.

Ryde from Pensacola to Gulf Shores - Gulf Shores to Foley and Foley to Fairhope, AL and return to Pensacola by the Interstate. Movie at the Rave (Bayou or W Street) and then dinner at Jasmine Fusion on 9 Mile Road (Alt hwy 90). exact route to follow.

I ate at Jasmin Fusion. It was ok. Seemed a bit Haughty Taughty for me. But if thats where everyone wants to go, I'll be there.

May I suggest RAVE on Bayou. All their theaters are Digital and its a newer theater. Lorie and I live on the west side but drive all the way to bayou to watch movies.

So, is there a running list? Who's going?

So far all the info I have is that Sabunim5 and Jan; Capt John and myself are in got a maybe from shunkmanitu. I had not put a deifintive theater in yet because no showtimes are out yet for the movie.

I would prefer we go to the Rave on Bayou but will have to check times.

Okay all it looks good for the 5:30 pm for sure -- leaving at no later than 1230 it will be at least a 2.5 hour ryde and that is not stopping and enjoying some of the scenery. It woul probably be a push to try and make the 345pm.

Ideas, comments.

Let me know and we can adjust the times a little so we can be closer - gthis is the first weekend the Transformers are showingso imagine it will ber crowded. May want to order tickets on line and get them early.

Seems like we could make the 345, but I agree that it would be a good idea for us to get tickets in advance. I will be there, but Jan can't come as her Mom is having surgery. Too bad none of the other locals have responded.
