RVers and Owners Event in Maggie Valley

Haven't confirmed or even discussed it with the Wife yet ( :lecturef_smilie: ), but I'm thinking of having a get-together around the campfire for the early arrivers on either Tuesday or Wednesday night. Anyone up for it? If so, which night?

Either night should be ok. We will have an " extra large" site if we need to get more people around a fire as we have reserved both site 82 and 122 to be able to have a pull through for our motor coach and enclosed trailer. They made us a deal on the second site just like they did at the 2011 event. Chuck & Donna

We just got things set we will be arriving the 11th and then leaving the 16th. They said we will be in site 88.

DocRags and I will be looking for everyone.

We will be staying at Creekwood RV for the Owner Event and then moving to Baileyton RV Park for the BBQ.

I like that plan and will see if it can work for us. Coming from Pa, Baileyton RV Park keeps us from having to backtrack, and puts us an hour + closer to home. Of course if the wife cannot clear her schedule, I'll leave the toy hauler at home and ride the RT to the event.

I decided to stick with the campground instead of a hotel, saving about $100. I'll be in cabin 74 and arriving on Wednesday the 12th. If there's a campfire party, count me in!:dg2:

Just bumping this to the top to remind everyone that they are welcome to attend the campfire on Wednesday evening the 12th of June. I completed an extra chair inventory of the RV and determined that I have 2 extras that could be used by visitors. There is a parking area right behind our site for those riding their Spyder in from outside the campground.
