• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Anyone have any Spyder dealings with Rusty's? Or for that matter, North American Warhorse, Two Jacks? Sales, service, parts. :spyder2: Tom :trike:

Rusty Palmer is off my list as he will not allow ANY test rides, at least as of 2 years ago, never bothered to go back. No experience with NAWH. While I have not bought a bike at TJ's, they have been fine with the parts I have needed. I have not heard any bad on TJ's either.

That said I ended up buying my wife's RT at Blackman's in Emmaus, fine so far.

Rusty Palmer

Thanks Storm. Tom

Tryed to deal with Rusty. No movement.
My brother bougt a spyder from two jacks.
Good deal and he is very satisfied with it. Said he would buy again from them. It is a left over 2012.
I bought mine a (2009) from horns in Mount Bethel PA.Just outside of Wind gap PA. Another good deal at the time. My brother did not want to travel to far out of the area.
Good luck on your search.

I bought my 2011 RSS from them and was very happy with their sales and service department. Ron is the sales manager and a great guy to deal with. Would highly recommend checking them out.

:agree: bought an rss last year from rustys. they were great with me. got the rss for 17k even! no one else came within a grand of that. I will admit tho that I have bought three sleds from them and an atv, but other than that i'm a regular customer. there service is unsurpassed as far as i'm concerned. I call and set up appointment and leave a couple hours later with the bike. corey in sales, and Jason in service!!! hats off to both of them!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you everyone. I purchased my Gold Wing trike from them 3 years ago. I'm very familiar with the service dept.. Jason and Tommy are awesome. But, my salesman Paul is gone. When I asked about a test ride. I was told they are trying to get the BRP trailer there. They have an open house end of june, but no test rides! :banghead: Oh well. :duh: Tom :trike:

Both the friend I was with and myself purchased new rides after the Rusty Palmer debacle. NEITHER of us purchased from him. He obviously stays in business but he will not get any of my hard earned dollars.

In contrast the BMW dealer that I generally buy from throws me a set of keys and tells me to bring it back in a couple of days. I have now purchased 3 bikes from him.

i have purchased 3 bikes from two jacks, 06 bmw k12lt (still own), 09 concours that i traded on my 12 rt. very happy with the deals i got. been having my 06 lt serviced there since new and have not had any issues. i do my own oil changes and other minor maintenance. have only had the first oil change on the rt done there to date, and there have been no problems.

I just got my 2012 RSS from Rusty's a couple of months ago. Jason & Kyle, in service are always ready to help out. Ron in sales is great to deal with...if you can catch him!! John, in parts is also very helpful. Have also dealt with Two Jacks in the past & they were also very good. They have new ownership now, so not sure about them. Kyle is the Spyder specialist at Rusty's. Remember, everyone has their on opinions ;)

i'm with you on this one. I called and told them that I had a directional out and that it was a loose ground wire. they told me to bring it over and they'd fix it immediately. took it in at 8:00 am. the next morning and was out of there at 9:00am. they have always been great to deal with!!! kyle just got married and I noticed a little swagger in his walk and talk!!!nojoke

Just to update. Bought my 2014RTS at Rusty's. Dealt with Ron who gave me an awesome deal. Way less than what others are paying. Met Kyle, great young tech. Fully certified and up on all his training. Tom :trike:
