Russell vs. Ultimate seat

Has anyone had both during their ownership of their motorcycles? I've had Russell seats and like them but I am curious about the Ultimate for my F3T. Interested in the pros and cons in comparison.

Have had both. For l-o-n-g trips I may prefer a Russell. Have Comfort seat on current Ryde. Seems to work well for now.

I've had both. But on different bikes. I can say the quality of materials on the Russel is far better. For me, the Russel lives up to its Day Long name. The ultimate did not even though it was far better than the OEM seat.

I would go RDL again in a heartbeat.

I've had both, and currently have an Ultimate Seat on my RT. I'm considering replacing it with another Russell.

I've had both including the BRP comfort seat. The RDL is by far the best IMO.

I've had them all on different bikes over the years, skip the rest and just get the best.....Russell Day Long.

Russel hands down over Ultimate. I can really ride my F3 all day long with no discomfort compared to only an hour or so with Ultimate before I really have to stop and stretch.

Love my Russell Daylong. I've had both on different bikes. Can't beat a Russell seat.

I have had both on our RT. The ultimate looked great, but due to my short inseam (30") the sides of the seat pressed into my thigths creating pain within 50 miles. I contacted Ultimate to see if they would reshape the seat to fit me. I was told that they do not customize their seats - that's why the offer a two week try out.
I returned the seat and ordered the Russell as they make it to fit the customer!

Best seat you will ever own!!
