• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 15 RT-S. I'm 5'9" 30" inseam. My knees are slightly lower than my hips when riding. Will the wings on the seat be a problem . Like putting pressure on the back of your legs. Thanks.

You sound like me as I am 5'8" with a 30" inseam. When you send in your seat info tell them about your issue and they can cut the foam down in that area. The wings themselves sit further back and do not intrude in that area. They do give you 8 months to make sure it fits you, so after you put on the 1000 miles (break in) and if you find any issue with comfort contact them and they will make it right.

Hello,
I'm physically gifted as you are and would love to hear any reports from you and other posters. I'm scheduled for RDL in August. Had seat worked on before by reputable source who worked his tail off ,but results were not what I hoped for . RDL has more resources so optimistic about upgrade. Anyway ,let's keep updating. Average people rule, even if overlooked.

You should probably be discussing this with the folks at Russell.
I'm pretty sure that this would be covered during the fitment process.

Hello Bob,
You cannot buy a RDL without going over fitment. Personally, I'll be there during the entire process. The enquirers are more about what needs to be addressed for certain body types. Seat selection is a laborious pursuit and expensive. Additionally, seat selection is personal, but input from same body type would seem to be more useful. Will appreciate any input. Thank you
Pete

:D I have friends, who have purchased RDLs, and they've ALL been about as happy as a bunch of clams in wet sand with them. :2thumbs:
(Even the thickness of your thighs and butt, will affect where the pressure points show up...)

I've had my RDL for 30 months now and it is great:yes::yes::yes: At 300 lbs and a 29 in seam they created a seat that works for me. I give them 5 out of 5 stars. :firstplace: Oh... the wife likes her half too.

I've owned numerous seats from RDL on different bikes. Awesome seats. Send pictures, talk to them ....
It will all be good. They always have to raise the passenger seat about 2-3 inchs for me because wife likes to look over me straight ahead instead of side to side and they never fail in getting me what we want.....
