• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Running ECO Mode - my MPG results.

August 12, 2021

My Spyder Sea to Sky gets about 36 mpg with ECO mode. I haven't even used the sport mode. I do local driving and highway at 50 mph mostly. I also do some on RT295 around 65 mph.

Please share where you got the information on ECO mode wherein it consist of more than showing arrows on when to shift. So it changes fuel/air mixture and timing? Just want to see the support. Would not a stage 1 or ii tune eliminate those claimed ECO mode benefits altogether?

Eco mode still works with stage II. I run Eco 90% of the time and at 60 mph I'm getting 40mpg. When I need it and want it I can jump out of Eco, turn up the wick, and have more power than I need to get gone. More power costs $$$$ in more ways than one. So I ride conservatively to keep wearables and fuel within reason. I do like to get on it now and then because it is a blast to ride.

Last trip in October to the New England states set in the normal mode got 38 mpg overall driving in all kinds of conditions and roads. This is with a 2022 F3L Special using regular unleaded fuel. Have a 19" aftermarket windscreen, 20 psi front, 25 psi rear and riding solo. About 2800 mile five day run.

I don't run in ECO need all the power it has, do a lot of mountain riding.

Have a 21 Legacy XT and typically get around 32mpg or a little more if I stay off the freeway. Just about 3 mpg less than my Spyder on highway. On the freeway the Spyder gets less than the Subie.
