There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

no you definately don't won't to use rft tires on a bike, they have a much higher rate of bubbles, damage to the
rim (dents & cracks) and run a lot rougher.

When I had a Victory and read the Victory forums a lot, there were several members who ran Dunlop Winter Sport run flat snow tires on the rear with reportedly great results. It would seem like a great option for the Spyder's rear tire since you don't lean them like 2-wheelers. Disclaimer: I haven't run them but I might be tempted, barring overwhelming evidence against it.

motorcycles have a tendancy to have rear flats. This is due to the fact that objects on the road lay on their sides not posing a problem till the front tire hit it usually proping it up so the rear tire hits it no longer on it's side. On a four wheeler it is much the sam. The three wheelers have neither the single front (trikes) or single rear (us) in line with any other wheel.
Don't think you will find run flats in our size nor will they work on our rims. (had mini rims damaged because of this) have not seen or heard of many flats on spyders and a compressor and plug kit is your best bet...jmo..:thumbup:

first off you never run rft's on just 1 axle, it is all or nothing i don't care bike, trike or car. I personally do not
want rft's on my car or my bikes, yes they have a safety feature but the negatives far out way the positive
of having them. I can only speak for cars as i did on CBS 2 weeks ago with AAA, runflat tires currently are over
priced, noisy, low mileage, stiffer ride that can cause damage to the rim and not as good in handling. If you guys
want to run them go ahead, i just know I WILL NOT.

You might prepare yourself. Most luxury cars are now coming with them. No spare or jack and no room in the trunk for a real spare. I have a BMW and got a small nail with 1000 miles, BMW didn't have one and none of the large tire dealers had one and only Les Swab would repair it. So far no more nails, but can see a lot less miles and as stated a noisier/rougher ride.

I have 2 bmw's today with runflats that have bubbles, i rim is bent & cracked they both have pirelli, yesterday
was a goodyear rft on a bmw and last week we did a few conti's and 1 bridgestone. almost all are bmw 3 & 7
series cars. From my experience with runflat tires since 1997 i won't buy a car that uses them, i bought a
2015 car for my wife, when we went car shopping the first thing i did was make sure they don't use runflat's
and check the trunk for some type of spare.
On my :spyder2: i have a conti comfort kit for inflation & keep the german plug kit we have at work.
P.S. yes you can repair rft tires with a combi patch on tread area but never plug them......ever
