rumbling exhaust?

I have ridden Harleys for years, and still love the sound of a nice pipe. Just wondering if there are any after market pipes out there that will fit my 2012 RT, that will give me the same low, throaty rumble?

Record a Harley onto an iPod, and play it over your radio speakers, really loud . . . a much cheaper solution! :joke::roflblack:

That short pipe is called the RLS Punisher.

I wanted more sound from my 2012 RT S, so I had a local muffler shop build me a straight pipe, with a stainless steel tip. It looks good and the sound is good, not as loud as a Harley, and no potato potato. Just got back from a 1000 mile trip with my Harley friends and they gave it a positive grade. I thought at first it would be too loud but after riding all day for 2 days I have grown to love it. I can listen to the tunes coming from the stock speakers with out full volume. It has its own sound, but pleasant. I'm not a kid, I'm 70 years old and still feel like a youngster.

Not gonna find one. Harley has a single pin crank and Spyders has dual pin cranks. Harley low RPM engine, Spyder high RPM engines. Hindle to me sounds the best.

I'm pretty sure it's not possible to have two crankpins on a V-twin engine and not have thing hit each other. Try as we might the Harley sound will never come out of a Rotax engine and i'm glad about that :yes:

I like the look of they're exhaust slip on.

I just installed an HMF exhaust on my 2013 RS and absolutely love the throaty sound. It is not a "Harley sound", but it sounds damn good and for the price you can't beat it! After buying an HMF exhaust I will never spend Two Brothers money on an exhaust again.

AS far as I know there are only two twins with a single crank pin are HD and Yamaha and they do have about the same rumble . Spyder is not a single crank pin

Price is good but nothing for the RT series, bummer.

I have a Yoshimura-R77 on my RTS. It has a nice sound without the baffle ,not Harley but nice.

There is one coming soon. A very low rumble and great sound. I just ordered it. I'll post pics, info and a soundbyte once I have it installed.
I had one on my M109R before I got the RT. I'm pretty sure the guy that makes these will also be making a Y pipe to replace the catalytic converter also.:doorag:

Of all the bikes I've had over the years, I've never put on an aftermarket exhaust.

I just installed:
Akrapovic exhaust, performance air cleaner, Y Pipe to eliminate cat and magnum tuner. When I was far enough away from home (I thought) I throttled on hard and could not believe how it changed the sound. When I got home my wife said she heard me... "It sounds like a Harley now" It even has a bit of a lumpy idle reminiscent of "potato potato".
