• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have micron exaust and just got it back from 600 mile service .And it just ain't running right . From idol to about 3500 rpm a little missy and when reaving down it back fires alot any idea's

Not the first time I hear people spend their hard earned money and gotten headache instead. I think I will perform all necessary maint. myself and the ones I can't do, I will put it off as long as possible. I think it will be my best chance to avoid inexperienced techs.

If it was running right when you took it in and it's not now take it back.

Rule #1) The first place you look, is the last place you touched.

It's not ALWAYS the cause, but many times it is.

Did they just install the Micron?

The Evoluzione o2 Mod is a cheap way to take care of issues like this.

I'd suggest opening up the air box and sticking in a more free flowing filter, plus lose the box intake tubes. Helped mine after Leo Vince install. Did you do the 20 min battery disconnect when the Micron was put on?

What kind of filters do you use

My $0.02.

If it's not running correctly take it back... the Micron shouldn't affect that... at least mine didn't... nor did the other eight pipe configurations.

"Backfiring"... now, that is a different matter. A louder, freer-flowing pipe like the Micron will make the already existing "backfiring" more noticeable. It probably did it with the stock... you just didn't hear it.

A new gasket in the lower slip joint should have been used. Was it? How are the upper slip joint gaskets? Air leaks at the slip joints will make the condition worse.

I believe you said the pipe has been on for a month. Was it this way from the day of the install? If not, my bet is on slip-joint gaskets.

I just installed a TWO BRO muffler. Bike ran like crap in 1 and 2. Flat until 3500 rpm's 4000 rpm's. The sound was bad and when I would get off the gas, it would backfire. WTF. Took it to the dealer. Was told it needed this fuel thing, and that other thing, and a fuel mix and a special o2 censer. Was told it was a 3 hr job. All said and done. She runs great. Sounds great. Down side was $850.00.:yikes: They only charged me $80.00 labor.:gaah: Labor price went up to $100.00 per hr.:cus: Feel bad for the young people with family and the $$$$ is real tight. And don't how to manage there $$$$ yet. How can they pay $100.00 per hr labor. There got to be a limit some where. :chat:

I would question just what in the world they could have done to solve your problem that should have cost $850 !

$85 for the O2 mod and 1/2 hour to install it would fix this problem.

I would like to know what they did to fix the issue also.
My bike runs almost exactly like that now. Tried the o2 sensor, juicebox, etc and actually worked for a bit, but back to the same....crap.
