• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Rts stalled out twice.

I have a 2014 se6 rts with 15500 miles on it. Always use high test and have done all service at dealer. My bike stalled the other day twice from a dead stop when I give it any decent amount of throttle. It is worst when engine is cold. I almost have to feather it as though I had a clutch in order for it not to stall. I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I’m thinking the timing may be off, or possibly fouled plug?

BRP recognized this issue ...... and there is a Dealer fix for it .... they change some settings with BUDS ....I had mine done under warranty, awhile ago ..... Mike

my 2012 Spyder stalls every time I stop. I have to say that I haven't used it much, and the fuel may be very old......initially it did not stall, now it does. I doubt vacuum line......could it be anything else....?fuel filter. thanks

Sounds like a trip to deealer

Thanks Mike, I'll head to dewater and see if they can tweak it.

Update

My dealer wasn’t aware of any update to address the stalling, but he said there was an ecu update. So he hooked it up and applied the update. Seems to run a little better, but I’ll keep an eye on it. They said they’d open a case with brp if it happens again.

???'s, do you still have the OEM fuel filter, have your plugs ever been changed, do you have the original wires, have you ever replaced the vacuum hoses, has the air filter been changed. Those are what comes to mind for anything else. JMO, but I don't own an RT.

Mine was doing the exact same thing and the problem turned out to be the wires. I replaced every vacuum hose on the bike. Did the purge valve bypass. Checked everything. Replaced wires with the ones from here and the bike came alive. Had not had a problem since.

Jim.
