There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. RTL Luggage Capacity?

I’ve searched and searched for what seems like an obvious question, but have not been able to find any published specs on the capacity of EACH area on the 2020+ Spyder RTL. Info exists for the tail trunk (60L), but no where can I find the breakdown of the other 117L.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks!!

The information should be in the specs in the owners manual. Can be found online if you do not have one.

I am not informed of the actual numbers on the RTL or other Spyders. We went to a rally earlier this year with our F3's and had room to spare on/in our F3L's. Good enough for me. The RT's are supposed to have a little more room. I am a very light packer though. I am of the ilk that if I need something else, I can get it at Wally World or similar.

That link does not work Jay.

Works fine for me, Dave……..

P.s. I have been searching for that info for ages, JayBros……. Never thought to look in the Owner’s manual… D’Oh:opps: Luckily, I bought a 40 litre waterproof bag on spec that fits fine in the trunk, after doing a bit of guesswork

Rear trunk capacity doesn’t jive either with the brochure. 60l vs 43l

Out of left field, I bought a pretty square 43l bag to fit in my ‘21 trunk…..45 litre square bag didn’t fit. There is still space in the curved sides and curved lid of the trunk to fit a larger bag custom made to fit in the unusual cavity, so at a guess, if you used the fitted bag available from Hopnel, I imagine you would be able to get around 60litres. I know that doesn’t address the difference in the documentation, but that is the real world scenario. I tried about 6 off the shelf bags of varying sizes and shapes.

Does anyone know what the luggage difference is between the F3 Limited and RT Limited? I don't understand how the F3 has 36.5 Gallons and the RT has 47 Gallons. It does not make sense. Same trunk and saddle bags? Frunk is the same size?

I believe the F3’s frunk is smaller than the RTL’s but I don’t have the number.

Thank you. That would be 9.5 gallon difference.

Just don't believe the documentation/specs published by BRP! :lecturef_smilie:

Sure, that info was probably correct.... once, for one model, maybe even for a few years :dontknow: But BRP's published specs & manuals, documentation etc are notorious for mistakenly referring to one model's specs in another model's manuals etc, etc, etc; and they also tend to 'forget' to upgrade their documentation to reflect the upgrades &/or latest fittings available on the most recent models....

So take anything the BRP documentation says re luggage capacity with a whole handful of salt, and NEVER compare one BRP document with another, they're bound to disagree on something, if not the very thing you wanted to confirm!! :gaah:
