• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Wheels on RS

A few weeks ago I posted about running into a New set of Smoke Gray RT wheels that were take offs at a Dealer here in Texas for $125 for the set, I could not resist that since my Red 09 RS does not look that great with those stock wheels and I know the smoke chrome wheels are $589 for a set. Several replied about the offset being different on these wheels and you were correct, good news is that they fit OK, there is more clearance on the inside than the outside but all is well. Just wanted to update in case there is anyone else wanting to spiff up their RS at a cheap price, not sure if these take offs are common at other dealers or not

If there is no pictures, it did not happen. :joke: How do they look ???

Since the footprint is now a little bit wider I'd be interested in finding out if you think that there'll be any improvement in the stability of your Spyder...

Glad to hear it worked. I have a vivid red RT and I'm thinking I need either black or red front wheels on this ride and eventually get the sprocket and rear wheel powder coated the same. This is all because the local 4x4 shop has about 8 wheels on display and the red powder coated ones are pretty enough to make an old guy cry. I was wondering if any RS wheels will fit the 2011 RT. Gonna be a while, as Santa and the Spyder vendors took all my money for this buying season. 5 kids with 8 grandchildren between them and a wife who thinks the poor little darlings will be naked if she doesn't buy them clothes, toys and electronics to play with and gives spending money for Starbuck's special frappes or what ever that $4 a cup stuff is they drink. Anyway, back to the wheels. I really like painted wheels. If I could get nice 50's looking all red or black wheels (with small chrome or painted hub caps, if they even make em any more) I'd probably be a happy guy - until some other idea came along.
Might have to put my wife back to work to pay for this stuff - fat chance with that thought.:banghead:
