For those of us with a non-BRP trailer...wiring the Spyder to work with an aftermarket trailer can be a PITA...no more
Show Chrome accessories aka Big Bike parts PN 41-162 now sells an isolated trailer wire harness for the Spyder
toughest part of the job are the panel removals...then its plug and play...one plug for right tail light...one for the left...ring terminal to positive extension post (bolt & washer provided) and ring terminal to neg post Voila!! done
you still need to source the appropriate 5 way connector to match your trailer....

OK... Value Accessories (Site Sponsor) Sells the Show Chrome wiring harness and hitch for the Spyder. 5 wire system. Mini Trailer USA (Site Sponsor) sells Trailers with a 4 wire system. :gaah: I am seriously considering purchasing these items but do not know how to make them compatible. any suggestions. I only have a $2000.00 budget to work with so BRP products are out of the question.
