There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. RT take off shocks

why would you want to buy back stock shocks anyway ?? everybike came with a pair of them ?? crazy sale ?

RT shocks for 2010 are not that good, and were improved in 2011 and 2012.

Hey Newbie; Take off RT shocks make quite a difference on older GS and RS models.

Last year I bought a set for my 2010 RS I had, and the difference was amazing. Now I have a 2012 RT so I already have the shocks, and need Elka's. Anybody want to take off their Elka's, and sell them to me for $199.00? :roflblack:

I'm a GOS member. I have a 2011 RTS. After putting Elkas on my bike I kept the stock shocks that only had 1,000 miles on them.

i offered mine for free to another GOS member if they would pay shipping.

:agree: I just sent my 2010 takeoffs to an RS owner for the cost of shipping which was $23.75.

I PM'ed you. I bought my wife a 2010 RT with 2k miles on it for this last Mother's Day. I ordered her a BajaRon Swaybar and I have been all over spyderlovers in search for what else to do for safety. The 2011 shocks are a must because we can not afford the aftermarket ones. She went for her firs ride leading me on my Harley last Monday. 20min in the ride she was gone! I love how she loves to ride now and with an RT I dont have to load down my bike with gear. Let me know if you still have the shocks and are willing to help out my wife.

Some of us with 2010 RTs and no Elka budget benefit from them too.

I ordered new '11's to put on my 2010 RTS and they are a better stock shock for sure. I paid 180.00 for them at the dealer.
I have also added BAJARONS sway bar. I am very happy with the handling and ride. I just can't see paying the preminum for the high dollar shocks. That's just "budget minded Me"

According to my dealer, the 2011 and 2012 shocks are the same part number. I put on the 2011's and along with Ron's sway bar the ride is awesome. (the sway bar is the biggest difference). As far as safety goes, My wife and I went cross country pulling the 622 trailer with the orgional shocks and sway bar and had no handling problems at all. I have sence changed the shocks and bar. I am not a hot rod rider but, when riding solo, I do sometimes have a little fun. That being said, If you are an aggressive rider, for sure go for the shocks and without a doubt, get Ron's sway bar. It's the best money you can spend.
