• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT shocks on a RS ?

Mine are 2010's set on 5. I added them at the same time I added the sway bar.

Yeah... I noticed a lot more wheel lift initially as my riding habits were mated to the old RS shocks. Took a little while, but my habits adjusted to the RT shocks and have less wheel lift. First time in the twisties riding hard, I was getting a bit more front end sliding and tire squeal, but nothing scary... I can carry more speed through a turn now, but I do admit that the wheel life is no longer predictable like it was on the stock shocks.

I have the RTs on my 2008 GS...had them put on I guess about 2 years ago now...(time flies)...

There is no comparison with how the bike handles. I can hit corners hard and the bike doesn't flop into the turn...when coming out of turns quickly, the bike doesn't roll back too much.

The RT shocks have really improved my ability to ride the bike 'harder'. I had my original shocks set at 4...I could've gone to 5. I have my RTs at 4...they work just fine...no need to go higher up.

I haven't lifted an inside tire yet...this only occurs if you are not leaning to the inside when going around a sharp ramp. If you balance yourself on the bike well, the tires should stay down. The harder the suspension, the more you have to lean...my GS shocks were way too spongy...the RT are a vast improvement...worth the few hundred dollars...no need, IMHO, to do much more to dramatically improve the handing of the bike.

If anyone has a great sway bar option that doesn't adversely alter the bike, please let me know...I would get that to try...
