• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Seal PUPs and passenger foot placement

We took a nice long trip over three days. My wife stated that her knees would start to hurt and was attempting to stretch out her legs by moving them forward toward my feet. Does anyone have the RT Seal PUPs? I have some pegs that I am going to install and was wondering if I got the pups would my wife be able to place her feet on the back portion of them to reduce the strain on her knees?

I have the Seal Pups on my RT and have a 5'1" wife. She can't reach my floorboards. I have her boards up almost all the way so she would be comfortable. I would imagine the passenger would have to be pretty tall or a New York City Ballet Dancer to reach the drivers floorboards.

Well.....my wife is 5' 10" 1/2.........she is as tall as I am. She could be a Ballet Dance...... ;) I am just concerned that while driving down the road that she will be trying to stretch her legs and something bad would happen.

I bought mine at Spyderfest and have a few hundred miles on them. I like them but the instructions were very poor and I had to modify the shifter as it wouldn't fit. It took about 2 hours to install. They work great. My wife hasn't been on back yet but she could place her feet on the boards behind mine with no problem. I would buy them again and this time I could install them in 30 minutes.

I have the full size seal boards installed. My wife is short and can't put her feet on the seal boards. But when she is driving and I'm on the back I fold up her boards and use the back of the seal boards. It's very comfortable that way.

I have them and yes she could since she is so tall. You could either leave the stock passenger boards off or she could use them until she needs to stretch out then just fold them up. Leaving the stock boards on and folded down will shorten her leg room while using them though but is nice to have foot position options.

Riders are not the only one's who enjoy their Seals, Pups or full boards. I have a number of customers who remove the passenger pegs completely to give the passenger free foot movemet. Our taller partners also need to.........

Ride in comfort,
John
