RT SE5 Stuck in 1ST gear

I have a 2013 RT LTD when I start it is in 1st gear will not shift up or down or go into N or R it dosnt click or do anything , any ideas what to check , where is the shift relay ? for some reason when I push the shift button the silinoid hooked to the shifter does not do anything I have checked my fuses and relays I switched the relays from my other spyder all OK .

Start with checking the oil these bikes use 1/4 Q every 1000 miles read the sticker on the oil tank

A few suggestions

1. After you have the bike off, remove the key and walk away from the bike with it for a minute or three.

2. Make sure your foot is on the brake when you start it, that should also put it in neutral after it starts.

I had a similar experience, discovered the shift lever came off spindle. You might want to check it.
