• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

About to click over 600 miles in less than a week, would be a lot more miles if the weather wasn't hostile. What a differnt experience from my Suzuki VL-1500. Love the auto clutch and ride; the G-forces in the turns are a little disconcerting. I feel and occasional stumble in the fuel injection (maping?) while cruising at an even speed. What a bunch of fun this creature is. Cat (my wife) loves the comfort and the ride; she just experieced the G-forces for the first time last night when she left the comfort of the wrap around back rest and leaned forward while we were burning through some twisties. Awesome machine. :2thumbs:

Dealers

We have a dealer in Medford, OR. It is called Waterworld out on Crater Lake Hwy. Great place to deal with. They will allow a serious customer to take a Spyder out for a long ride to try it out. . . we have lots of really nice roads for a test ride.

Nice places to ride in Grants Pass Oregon

Hey Vaughncat, Congrats on the Spyder!

I bought my Spyder from Water world, yes they are great to deal with.

Glad to see someone else here in So. Oregon taking advantage of these awesome sights.

when we get a few sunny days I was planning on taking a ride over to the coast by Brookings, then North to Tillamook and maybe Portland. I am almost ready for my 600 mile service.

The wife & I wanted to go to Canada but it's still a little early for that.

:congrats:
from a former Suzuki C90 owner. You'll eventually realize how difficult it is in those turns to affect the suspension. You can also adjust the suspension to make it more rigid in those corners. My front suspension is set at 4 and my back with 65 Lbs. My front tire pressure is set at 20 lbs front tires and back at 25. Makes a big difference for me.
Ryde hard but ryde safe and enjoy! :2thumbs:
