Lamont, your RT must have been the "prototype", and the one shown in the maintenance manual.
There they do mention using the cable in the forward hole, and actually show a cable attached to the foglight assy. However, none of the newer RT's seem to use this method of adjustment. The set I received had no cables attached, and although the dealer told me that there was a screw for adjustment, I've been unable to spot it... at least with the snout on. :gaah:

It was a preproduction unit so I'm not sure where they are now. :dontknow:

I took the fog light assmbly appart this week to figure out a way to install
the ring leds from Tricleds and possible strobe lights.
I know what you talking about and there is really no way without major modification to install any additional led's.
You may have to cut into the bottom part of the fog light housing to access the chrome part and to be able to drill a whole in there to either fit a strobe light or any other led. If you do, it's gonna be a pain (in the you know what):gaah:

I scrapped the whole idea - for now!
If someone comes up with an idea - i'm all for it!!

what would be cool would be to flush fit a white LED strip instead along the bottom edge of the light for daytime running lights like the Audi cars have and some others.

it would have to be flush and recessed to look OEM.
