yes, the RS cuts the wind much betterI just got back from a 50 mile ride. The wind was blowing 20 to 30 mph and really affected the handling, especialy in a crosswind. I had a 23 or 25" Cee Williams windshield on my GS and 4" risers, so my riding posture on both bikes would be very similar. Today the RT was a lot "twitchier" on the ride than my GS ever was. I realize there is more "tupperware" on the RT that could be affected by the wind, but could not believe the differance between the two. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this noticeable difference between the two?

This being my first Spyder, I've already adapted to the buffeting caused by the cross winds. Not having owned or ridden an RS to compare my RT to is a plus in this case. If it's windy now, I expect it and it doesn't bother me at all anymore. Ignorance is bliss!!!!!:roflblack:

What a great savings!!! :2thumbs:New back tire [Nitto N450} helped, from following her , closer than I will deem safe, on my Venture, I feel when we take off the front tires in favor of an auto tire as I did on back the stiffer sidewalls will eliminate the rest of the squirm under the wheels, Apply weight to inside foot, accelerate through curves smoothly as driving a Porche, wife can drive away from many two wheelers in curves, alot is experience, alot is confidence, go to parking lot , pick apex and test your bike and yourself, turning and braking, shew has yet to find the limits , she did find them on Goldwing Trikes she used to have, VSS is confidence building but you have to prove to yourself that it will work.
