There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I find it interesting how the dealer / dealer tech would " KNOW " this ????? .... Ask them if that's a genuine BRP crystal ball or if you can get one on the internet :yikes::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: ....... JMHO .... Mike :thumbup:

Dunno he just sat on it and told me. He may have driven it around. What mileage do these typically need replacement?

Not to get personal .... but how heavy are you ? ... do you often carry heavy passengers ? .... how many miles on your Spyder? ... Do you often travel on exceptionally poor roads ? ... and most important ..... Do you think the rear is not working as it used to ??? ............. just trying to get an accurate picture, ..... not all dealers / techs have your pocketbook as a priority..... Mike :thumbup:

I'm 145 and don't drive off-road. Belt makes a squeak when accelerating. Belt looks aligned correctly. Need to the tensio. Checked. That would be the only thing I noticed. The tech was driving mine after some warranty work and said it felt like it was going and will need replacement soon. I have only driven mine so I have to take his word on it.

Unless he's hearing it rattle or click when hitting bumps I don't see how he can tell that. Mine was rattling and clicking some when hitting railroad tracks or pretty big uneven sections in the road with just me on it. Riding 2up it wouldn't do it. Dealer said the shock was going out. So I bought one and swapped it out, sure enough it rode much, much better and had better feel over bumps.
