• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are working on our RT-Preformance Kits, and will be able to package and ship soon. Some time the first of next week we are going shoot the video on a how to instal, question...would you rather have a video, or a step by step with pic's instuction sheet? We are also currently, working with a couple of companys to get this kit out. On the stage 1 kit we are seeing about a 15+ horse gain on 2010's and 11's with a about a 3mile a gallon + gain, Customers are reporting back. Looking forward to getting this going. Stage 2 kit is still my pick, because it comes complete with Elka's.

I've got Elka's, and get 25-27 mpg depending upon the level of the road.. Downhill 27 otherwise 25.5 ...

So I can get 30 + with the performance pack????

Well since I'm about as dumb as a pail of wet hair around mechanicals; I'd actually prefer BOTH sets of instructions... :opps:

lol Forest shocks don't gain fuel milage but do make a huge diffrence in the handeling, as i'm sure you already know. As for the fuel milage gain, I think i'll let the others on this form tell you there gains, better to hear it from people who have had the shoe on both feet.

Lol understand completely measure twice, cut once right:thumbup:

MEASURE?? :shocked::opps:
Most of the cutting is done on my own hands and forearms... :yikes:
I'm barely allowed to even open a jar of Peanut Butter in the kitchen anymore...somehow it ends up on the ceiling fan in the living room!

oooohhhhh!! What all is included in the Stage 1??

The wifey already has the Elkas!!:thumbup:
Cold air intake system with a green filter, preformance plugs and wires, two bro's RT preformance muffler, and engine additive to the oil to reduce heat and friction, total of 849.00 shipped or 949.00 installed

What would the deal be if, only air intake system and green filter???? Already have plug and wires, Have no desire for muffler.

Are all roads leading to MO down hill or up hill from Florida.???. I remember a saying we go up North and Down South..:roflblack:

I've noticed that the O2 sensor ( 2 sensors - RT ) are not mentioned..

No need to change the 02 sensors, they are fine. As far as the rest Forest, the pipe is not alot louder like a pipe on a RS, And with out it, it wouldn't have the full affect....Simiple rule of horse power get as much in and out as possible, and you do have to utilizing the best airflow fuel mixture and spark aspossible. Although our intake will work I'm not sure you would be happy with the results without it being complete kit. :dontknow:

Len,

I have an RTS. Do you lose fog lights to do the cold air intake?

If so is it really worth it? I like my fog lights.;)

Stage 2 is Stage 1 + Elka Stage 1?

No your fog lights will not be affected, we actually pull the air from different location all together. And yes the stage 2 is the addition of the one way plus elka's.

I just returned home from Cowtown today after getting the Stage 2 RT Performance kit installed on my 2010 RT A&C with over 26,000 miles. First everything that has been said about the great people and service at Cowtown is true. I had installed the 2011 shocks on my RT but was still looking for more.

Today I had about a 275 mile run to make from Cuba to Memphis. I traveled back roads, fast two lane and interstate; the Spyder had a much different and better feel. It felt more nimble, more stable and cornered much flatter in the turns. It feel more sold on the interstate at the 75 to 85 speeds with more power to pass. It is a little louder but the sound is more pleasant to me. I could not tell if I will get better fuel economy since I played a lot on the trip home.

Now that I have ridden with this kit I would not consider an RT without it, the RT is just a better bike with this kit.

While at Cowtown I had them install some new lights by Clearwater they are expensive but worth it. If you are looking for more light look at these I am very impressed, Len yes I went for a ride around Cuba last night after dinner, the lights were great.

Len you Kevin and the entire team did a great job.

Thanks

Dan

Thanks Len for your input.... I guess I will keep me RT slow and quiet :roflblack: like me.

Have a great day ... see you in the next year.

This kit is gonna get me killed for sure...
The Financial Oversight Committee isn't all that receptive and is getting surly! :yikes:
