Just totaled 2015 RT Limited thinking on a F3 Limited. I ride 2 up 50 50. Has anybody changed from a RT to a F3 and is the difference that great. It is not riding season yet so I need a opinion thanks.
I made this switch last month. Haven't been great riding but she will drive it more than ride two up. It is her bike after all. The seat is NOT in the same ballpark as the RT. There are trade offs with the F3 that we are hoping will payoff.Just totaled 2015 RT Limited thinking on a F3 Limited. I ride 2 up 50 50. I finally got to see a F3 Limited, and as much as I would like to have an F3, I will not ask my wife to sit on that passenger seat for an all day ride. To me it was just uncomfortable, and like sitting on an inflated balloon. I can not see getting ride of my RT Limited, it is comfortable for me,, and comfortable for my riding partner, but then. we do have an Ultimate seat.David
I really don't agree that the RT is the only choice for 2-up. While I do think the RT is an excellent choice for 2-up, we have F3, and we put 12000 miles on it last year - 75% of that was 2-up. Properly set up with a BRP passenger backrest and passenger foot boards my wife says she is very comfortable and loves riding on our F3! For me, the awesome handling and driver comfort are well worth a small compromise in 2-up!

Nice lookin F3. We just bought a 2015 and was wondering what winshield you have and does it cut the wind off of you ?
I don't like to chose 1 for the other, so I kept both the RTL and F3T.ray:
Take the F3T when I ride solo and the RTL when I take the wife along.
This way, everyone is happy.
As for your question Plugger2, I suggest you go for the F3 Limited since you already had the 2015 RTL. Try something different; I don't think you will be disappointed.
Let her ride the F3: there's less storage capacity for the inevitable shopping trips! :yikes:RT for her, F3 for you!
