The "boot up" time has never been an issue for me. I am thinking not much more than a minute. This is the time where I put on the helmet and gloves while I am waiting.

I paid 24,500 out the door for my 15 RT-S brand new end of season sale. Far cry from 40k. BTW the 2015 and up RT-S do not have a wait time to start. Turn key on push mode hit start. Do not have to wait for screen to say read card or finish booting.

My 2016 RTL starts right away. No boot up time needed.

20 -35 seconds for RT series (prior to 2015)

But i always allow it to warm up a bit before taking off to allow oil to get everywhere it needs to be

1 1/2 minutes to start it and allow it to warm up is more than enough time.

The boot-up sequence gives me the time I need, to pull on my helmet and gloves...
