RT is back from the shop

Picked her up today. Seems like the battery is holding a charge now, FULL 12K service done by the book, including checking all valves. ( they were perfect at 15K miles, not close but right on the money.), bearings, new rear tire, easy access oil panel. etc
Many thanks to Ben and Brent at my local dealer, Westcoast Powersports. Now I see why they are one of the top 50 in the USA.
They cleaned her all up and when I went to pick her up, the skies opened up and liquid sunshine came down.
All ready for the long ride to Daytona later this month.

Me too. My tech took a vacation so the rt goes back in tomorrow. It lasted less than a week this time. Battery number 5 and she is ready for number 6. Wish me luck.

Trying to keep the posts in order. Spyder IS back in the shop as of 10/16 for the same battery drain issue. Looking back at my paperwork, its been in the shop almost 7 months out of the last year. All for the same issues. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yikes::yikes::yikes:

That was short lived, you need everyone to anoint it with XPS oil and lay hands on it, I hate to hear it again. I'm going on 2 weeks now problem free.

I picked up my r/t from its fifth trip for DPS limphome crap two weeks Wed. We are now carving the Parkway out of Franklin NC. My issue is the cruise control doesn't work now and it smells like crap, vapor reflow can. No more Bradenton dealer gotta find a new one. Will be home new week and looking.

West Coast (Clearwater) and Central (Kissimmee) are sister dealers, never heard about anybody leaving lately with a Spyder that wasn't repaired professional. :thumbup:

No firsthand experience with Central but West Coast has always given 100 %.
