• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Hitch Install

Got my Hitch today and reading instructions there's a statement that says original drive belt tensioners MUST be installed on the vehicle The billet parts are not recommended! Say what? Am I missing something?

I believe it is a clearance issue, although it could also be a strength issue. Do what they say! nojoke

I hate to be dumb but what are the original drive belt tensioners. Why would they not be on the bike? I notice in another thread you did know the torque values.
My instructions state 55nm or 41ft/lb It say further tighten till one of the castellated nut grooves is aligned.
Do not exceed 75nm or 55lb/ft

There are blocks at the end of the tubular swingarm which have the belt adjusting bolts in the middle of them. If an owner has replaced these with the accessory billet items (aka farkles), then the originals should be reinstalled before installing the trailer hitch. If you have not added the accessory caps, you can ignore this warning.

Thanks for the reminder about the torque value.
