• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Most of the LED lights would be used for show only, and not while you are actively running down the road. However, during Daytona Bike Week and Biketoberfest anything goes and they were not ticketing any motorcycles for blue or red lights. Not saying they couldn't have, just that they didn't.

:hun: I have to question the side track lights for vehicles over 80". Might it mean 80'?

The 80 inches is width, not length, so this would apply to wide load vehicles.

The new RT lighting mods look very nice, almost nice enough to make me want one but not quite there yet. :D

I have had Blue lights somewhere on my bikes and cars for over 25 yrs. Never did I get a ticket. There are laws against "Spitting on the sidewalk", "J-walking" and more. When was the last time you herd of someone getting a ticket for those laws. I never have. Go to your City Hall and look up all the laws on the books. So these colors are in the book too. SO what. If a Cop asks you about your Vader lights. I forgot to turn them off when I left the parking lot. Then turn them off. I think you would have to pi$$ a cop off to have him site you for your lights and what ever else he can Find. I have been pulled over in Daytona one time at Biketoberfest the cop just said turn the off. Witch I did. Life is to short to worry about the little things. Worry about your health, your kids, your family. everything else is trivial.

You know I am not the least bit worried about my lights either, and that is why they can see my Spyder from the space station. :roflblack:

I posted my comment in reply to the link to the Florida Laws, which are pretty much the same for most states, for those who might be worried about legal issues. I am in total agreement with you that if they tell me I can't have them on I will turn them off, that is why they are independently controlled by the different zones on my controller box.

I have never been stopped, or asked to turn any of my lights off so far. However, we do know that Spydergirl was given a ticket in California for her white TricFenderz. So if you live in CA you may want to play it a little bit safer. :dontknow:

Nice looking lights. I also have mine all lit up--my led's have a bluish tint to them. I have had State Troopers come alongside, look me over, give me a thumbs up sign, and then drive on. We have so many fatal accidents in AK, that I feel the more lights, the better.
