There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi guys
can anyone tell me, I have heard that on the RT standard, the lower fog light wires are already there in place, can anyone tell me how I find them, do I have to remove the FRUNK or should I be able to poke my hand through a hole somewhere, grope around and find them, in any case can some one guide me, Im talking about the bottom fogs not the tops

Thank for any input

No fog lights on EU RT's

The picture you posted shows the headlights and the what we call the fog lights here in the US/Canada. Your lower lights are the lowbeams and the upper lights are the highbeams. Therefore your RT is already using the lower set of lights. What you are pointing at is the small circle in the light assembly. Is this correct? If so there is no kit that I know of that can convert it to a usable light.

Thanks, so in the high beam headlight unit, are the fog light wires there ready?

Fog Lights

The upper lights on the RT are the hi and low beams on this side of the pond ( western hemisphere) The larger, swept back lights on the sides of the frunk are the fog lights.. Hi and lo beams are shuttered for the two settings. Too bad the lighting isn't consistent world wide .

As others have mentioned, the EU/Aus Spec Spyders use the two projector lights up the top as Hi Beam, & the two lower projector lights (those on either side of the 'frunk') as Low Beam, while the US/CAN spec versions use those lower lights as Fog Lights & run both Hi & Low beams from the light assemblies in the upper housings! :sour:

However, if you are talking about the little 30mm or so dia 'small lenses' right up the front of those lower light fittings, they aren't anything but decorative mouldings & I don't believe there's anything that can readily be done to convert them to lights, & certainly no wiring there just waiting for lights! The two similar 'small lenses' in the Upper light fittings however, they CAN be converted to LED's & there's even a BRP 'Accent Light' fitting to go in there if you want to order it! That kit comes with a 'plug & play' LED unit for each side; you do hafta remove the headlight assy tho, cos you need to use a hole saw to cut out the shiny plastic chrome 'lens' bit before installing the new LED component! The wiring connectors for those LED's ARE tucked just inside the tupperware/under the headlight assy waiting for you to plug them in; but they aren't independently switched, they come on whenever your low beam lights come on - in our case, that's when you turn on the ign & the engine starts!

Thanks, the live wires tucked in the tupperware are all I need to know, I want them for another purpose than what they were meant for.
