OK, here we be dudes & dudettes...

i just finished RT DYI-OEM MUFFLER MOD II..... :2thumbs:

this time i gutter this bad-boy to the MAX & pulled another 7" out of the OAL... GAWD, if GM, Chrysler and all the other car companies built mufflers like BRP, they'd put MIDUS out of biz-nis for sure...

hey PICKLEHEAD, r u out there....??? this is your original... if u'd like to try it out, i'd be happy to switch it over for u.... :dontknow:

this one should resonate (aka; SCREAM) like nobodys business... i installed a 'low pressure baffle' in this one like the FLOWMASTERS have, hoping that it will give it a 'mellow' tone... check out the pix... Bob D. let me know if u have an interest...

OH, BTW, if any1 is interested and would like to do their own MOD, i'd b happy to walk them thru the 'how it's done' portion...

Bobby, i did a video w/sound of my RS MUFFLER MOD, and the sound on the video isn't even close to the actual sound aft of the muffler...
however, for :bowdown: YOU :yes:, i will do it, if i get somebody to volunteer their RT for the 'test drive'....

if i had an rt, i would have you do mine.looks cool. should sound really good too. looks like you have this procedure down to a science. how long does it take, start to finish ? can i come over to your house to play:roflblack:?

OH, but i have Bobby... took 9 inches out of my OEM to create this MOD...

if i can get another RS CAN... i plan on 'removing' the CAT, and welding in a GLASS-PACK muffler to the CAT location, then putting the outter shell back on... it'll be a real sleeper...
Coz, as for how long...? i've got'a tell ya pal, the RT's are a B!TCH... it took me 4 hrs. just to gut this sucker... but next one i think i can trim quiet a bit off that time since i now know what n where to cut... total time for this one was about 8 hrs... i think i could do an entire MOD again in maybe 3 - 4 hrs... my wife asked me if i could reduse her CAN too... but i ain't gona try to climb that pole.... :roflblack:
as for play'n in my sand-box... COME ON DOWN.... it was in the 60's here today, and i rode about 15 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway....... BRP kind'a fits with a SPYD3R........ brrrrrr... it was cold up there... i now know why it's called the BLUE RIDGE.... your lips turn BLUE after about 15 minutes.....

PICKLEHEAD II

well, Picklehead just rolled out of my MAN-CAVE with MUFFLER MOD II....

having 'gutted' this thing to the MAX, we found that it has a little more 'throaty' tone to it than MOD I... however, i'm certain that the CAT plays a HUGE roll in keeping the sound at bey.... at least he's happy, and that's the ONLY thing that counts.... btw: BIG BIRD did the removal & replacement... i also made his a 'mud flat' which i should have taken a picture of...
