• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Dash Wrap Feedback

Wondering if anyone has any firsthand feedback on the Powersports Wraps dash kits. Any photos? How easy was it to install? I saw the youtube video and they made it look pretty simple. How long have you had yours and is the adhesion still just as good as day one. Thanks for any feedback. Oh yeah, and does anyone know if they will be a vendor at Spyderfest?

I watched the video a couple of times and jumped right in. I did the carbon fiber kit. I think the key to a good installation is a heat gun to soften and add to the flex of the material. I also test fit each piece before I took the tape backing off. This really helped me see the spacing of each piece.

I done all my bikes. Not hard you just take your time and works great. Just don't push it done or it setup and you can't move it around, just take you time. Love his wraps from power sports...

i have had The carbon fiber for over two years and all kinds of weather extreme hot to extreme cold no issues whatsoever. I like it so well I am putting on my 2014. Both will be installed by Pitbull Powersports staff.

I have had the silver carbonfiber on our 2011 RT Ltd (Pearl White} now for over two years and it looks as good as the day it was installed. It has been in temps from 109 degrees in the summer of 2012 to 8 degrees below zero this winter and it is still sticking where it belongs! :2thumbs: It is a great product. :firstplace:

I installed my honey burl wood about 2 years ago, installation is easy but take the time to mask around the larger piece before you remove the backing to help position the piece, one the primer is down and you touch the dash it is stuck. If you have used any waxes or silicones clean with an automotive prep solvent a couple of times, followed by alcohol. After two years my kit was like new and that was after 20,000 miles of use.
