The new RT BumpSkidTM by SPYDERPOPS has changed the looks of the RT so much that it looks naked with out it. Since it is completely out of the box compared to other products on the market it comes with many questions.

You know you need it, you know you want it so we created a new FAQ section to our website just to answer the many questions that have surfaced without having to search the forum.

Can the bumpskid be made transparent? Putting LEDs behind a transparent bumpskid would create a cool glow.

No, can't make it transparent however you can work wonders with a router. You can actually inlay LED strips where they will not get damaged and drill extra holes for wiring. The possibilities are unlimited. Check out the FAQ's.

I read the FAQ already. I knew about routing. Transparency was a passing thought. Having a light behind it would make the whole skid glow in a manner similar to the way I have my wind deflectors (see my mods thread) and I just thought it would be cool.

PICTURE ADDED SHOWING PLASTIC RIVETS

Sometimes I get questions about where the plastic rivets are located that have to be removed to align the BumpSkid. When your Spyder is dark in color and lighting is bad it can be hard to find these rivets.

A picture has been added to the FAQ,s that will leave no doubt where they are.
