• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Broken Butt

Somebody has probably said it already... Spyders can be replaced... you can't. I wish that your spyder has a quick recovery as well and that you are ryding again shortly.

I sure hope so, Bob's was a complete tear down to replace the frame, I have the old one.
How is your project coming along Ron?? :dontknow:

Actually; for as deep as they had to get into the innards of my bike, I was pretty concerned that I'd be seeing error codes poppping up like campaign promises... So far it's been perfect! :2thumbs:

So now I have a hand-assembled Spyder...

:roflblack::roflblack: I wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole!

Using crash statistics gathered by the Fatal Accident Reporting System, the General Estimates System and the Nationwide Personal Transportation Survey, the researchers developed an innovative method called "decomposition" to break down the data into new categories and weigh the relative contribution of three variables: crash fatality, incidence density (number of crashes per million miles) and exposure prevalence (annual average miles driven per driver). Until now, the death rate ratio has always been based on just two factors: fatality and accident rates. The investigators discovered that teenage boys start recklessly, with about 20 per cent more crashes per mile driven than teenage girls. Males and females between the ages of 20 and 35 run almost identical risks. Females over the age of 35, however, are significantly more likely to crash than their male counterparts.

Glad to hear you are ok. Now we need Cowtown (and the insurance) to break Bob's record of 140 days!

True fact... but  for no beating-up-Doc-at-Spyderfest for that comment!:roflblack:

Not even a little step, we got this:thumbup: Glad your ok, and we will take on the insurance with you, trust me they will play very very nice and you'll come out ahead. We got this:doorag:

:firstplace:And you know you have the :firstplace: dealer in the country taking care of business:cheers:

Glad you are OK. Glad it was that "butt" that got broken. Take care and see you Saturday!!!

Deer scare me more than female drivers, but from what I hear, does are worse than bucks when it comes to predictability.:joke:

I was in 2 accidents last year, neither one my fault, both caused by women drivers. I was in a cage though... Does that count? One couldn't stop in time n the freeway when all the cars in front of me stopped, and the other plowed into me at full speed while I was waiting at a stop light.
ouch ouch ouch!!!!

This is the same bike that I DID hit a deer with!!! no injurys then either but broke 3 of this really small deers legs. I shoulda got a yellow bike! Maybe "they" out there could see me better? Then there are a lot more spydrs out here now and so the hits are going to increase I am afraid.

Glad to hear that you're OK Sharon. Chin up. The guys at Cowtown will have you back on three before SpyderFest.

Wow! how did I miss this thread last night. Glad your Ok and I'm sure Cowtown will work their magic. See you Sat.

glad your alright and another Rat's off to cowtown, len runs a top tier dealership and they are second to none.

THANKS TO ALL!!! for your support and" helpfull hints" ( women are more prone to hit somebody!!!???) Anyway Kevin says 4 codes and a wireing problem. Ouch!! Wireing problems on this bike should be a REAL HUMDINGER!!!! And he says the skin and rear end plastic is no problem. Just get new. Have pics on my phone and NO CLUE how to get em on here:dontknow:. But the thing is Cowtown is THE ABSOLUTELY BEST so I'm not sweating it too much, They will get me goin again in short order. ( or I come steal one of the red ones in the shop there while they aren't looking!!!):joke: Love the folks at Cowtown!!!! They were real sweethearts to send a trailer for my bike as it wouldn't go into any gear. Can't say enough about them they are the best.
