I guess maybe I got my accidents confused. There was another recently yesterday involving two Spyders and a third vehicle, and it stuck in my mind. Blame in on the drugs after the surgery, blame it on my old head injury, or blame it on ageing brain cells. Still a good idea to follow at further intervals. I have seen too many Spyders in groups jammed up on each other's fannies. BTW, I was reading in an old thread here that the 2-second rule was no longer considered adequate. After some reflection on this, I have opened up my interval even further. My reflexes are aging as fast as my feeble brain cells.
I have been using the 5 second rule for quite a while. I never felt comfortable with the 2 second rule.
