There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Question

Can you tow a RT 622 behind a car.
I'm on vacation and have a couple of opportunities to pick up a trailer.
Thanks in advance for the Help.

YES. with the following cautions. make sure that the hitch on the car is set so that the trailer is level, make sure that you have an adapter so the wiring harness will work on with your car and last but not least put some weight in the trailer so it will not bounce around too much. Also be careful going up and down curbs, rail crossings, etc, the trailer is low to the ground

One other thing ...

...Please use a VERY small car; it would look SILLY if it got towed behind a fullsize! :roflblack:
Smarts
The Fiat 500
(This is when the Elio should have become a reality! :gaah:)
A MINI might be a bit large; but consider it as a candidate due to it's "coolness" factor! :D

Yes I've thought about the size factor. I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander. Wish I could stuff it in the back. There are a couple gret deals on the way home.

Got a photo of a suv pulling a 622 on I-75 near West Branch Michigan. Looked like they were doing fine as they passed me doing about 80mph.

I picked up my RT622 in Sioux Falls, SD and towed it home behind my PT Cruiser. It needed a slightly smaller ball than I had, but I went to a hardware store and got the right one. I didn't have the lights connected, so I had to make sure I got home before dark.

I towed mine home behind my Landrover.

Yeah, it looks silly...but it works.

As mentioned, be sure to get a drop hitch so you're not dragg'n the trailer's butt all the way home.

I would rent a small U-Haul to get it home. Like Joe said it has to be level and stay that way, or you will damage the very expensive trailer.

Yes you can. I have a 2010 RT 622 trailer and I bought the BRP kit for towing behind a car. It tows great behind a car.
Depending on the model year of trailer . The kits have a adapter to convert to flat 4 pin and extension safety cables to make them longer to hook up to cars hitch

I make sure that the trailer is level when I tow it with my car.
