RT 622 Trailer

I just picked up my new trailer on Saturday. I was wondering if its just my :spyder2: or are other :spyder2:'s acting the same way. When I set the bike to trailer mode I can't shift until 4,500 RPM's. In normal mode without the trailer I can shift at 3,000 RPM's. Is this the normal reaction to the programing or is there something wrong with my Spyder?

Normal reaction to the programing in trailer mode, With a loaded trailer it
would help to not overload engine/trans in a higher gear.....:lecturef_smilie:...

Yup, I had the same issue, but thats what the programming in the computer does for ya, perfectly normal :thumbup:

Trailer VS computer

I got cought with that problem coudn't get it out of 1st gear.:yikes: Called Cowtown they said take it out of trailer mode then it would pretty much work as normal. Am currently on a trip and am NOT useing the trailer mode and the RT is doing just fine as far as I can tell. I still get it up in RPMs due to wt but do that with or with out trailer. Works great for me and now that I know it's normal am not in a state of shock.:roflblack:
