I just picked up my RT-622 trailer from the paint shop, and I'm pleased to see its a perfect match to my cognac RT-S. The color used was #B284 (alloy orange metallic). Blue Knight had asked the quantity and color of the paint. It required 1.5 quarts, and cost between $350 and $400. The total job came in with tax at $989, not too far out of line with others who've painted a 622.
The only glitch is that the painter declined to apply the new transparent film I'd supplied, saying that without special chemicals used by installers he'd inevitably leave fingerprints on the film. I'm going to try a shop that applies wraps near me.
Now I need to decide whether or not it's worth plastidipping the trailer's rims to match the RT-S black chrome.
Anyone considering color matching their trailer to a cognac bike is advised that the color mentioned above was a perfect match.
