RS with new Madstad windshield - keep side deflectors or not?

For those with Madstad's, did you leave the Ultra Touring wind deflectors on or not (if you had them)?? They've been on since I got it 2 months ago so don't know what effect there would be without them.

Have the Madstad but never the touring deflectors. Thought is that these block airflow around the Spyder body- not the windshield area so they'd have no impact on the Madstad setup.

We've been running with the deflectors off this summer; really makes a diff with the air flow.
put them back on for one day ... then took 'em back off again till the weather cools a bit.

Oh, and btw, we're still hoping to do the Crater Lake ride, probably towards the end of the week, 9/22 or 9/23....
hope it works out that you can ride with us.

Warm Weather = Deflectors OFF
Cold Weather = Delectors ON
