There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. RS rear fender options

My rear fender brackets broke for the third time in 85,000 miles. I am not going to replace it again. I would like options to relocate the license plate and add a mud flap. Anyone done this? Can you send photos? Thanks:):banghead:

Not as good as the one in your pic I'd say, but having ridden lots in the rain with my wife on the back and the Kawasaki one fitted, she don't get any wetter. :roflblack:

How does the
fender do in rain? This is one option I am exploring

Not as good as the stock fender. Of course I ride solo most of the time. It has slung some on my jacket, but not bad. Another option is the get the fender supports off a later model. I have a buddy that had broke his braces twice. We installed the newer version with the added fender support. look at p/n 68 on this page. This is off a 2013 model. They wouldn't admit a design flaw, but sure made extra support on the 13 models

The first two times the bracket broke at the fender attachment. The 2013 parts may fix that. This time the angle brackets that the support brackets, on the swing arm broke. I am looking to eliminate the brackets.

How do you modify the Kawasaki rear fender to fit the Spyder? Is this the part to buy or do you need more of the tail piece? Do you have a photo of the rear fender installed on the Spyder?

Warlock.

I'm running the sports fender that is made for the SpyderView attachment 159739

I bought a 2010 rs se5 from insurance and new to spyder. Still working on getting it road worthy, but first upgrade will hopefully be bags. Do you know if those side bags would fit and if so, would you post the make. My spyder is also black.

Thanks

I don't see your pic. This is the part here, tho the reflector is missing from this one - Concours14 or ZX14 is same. Mounted with 3 small bolts, 2 forward ones thru the existing Spyder plastic with a large washer on top; the 3rd hole is threaded into the rearmost bit of the rear silver housing between the lights.

I've got the
ZX14
part and mine has a couple of metal brackets that I found very useful for mounting my led indicators to.

If you order one you don't want the whole rear fender, just the 'tail/plate mount'.

Here's a couple of pics to show it from different angles:

I'm guessing I mounted mine an inch or so further back than other people have. I did that because to me it gave a more even line around the wheel

Sorry meant to crop those photos first:

I made a small bracket for the number plate to make it sit more upright as otherwise its at quite a shallow angle

Will the fx14 fender work on a f3

I'm not sure if anyone has tried it yet, if so what i was wondering is if the same principals for attaching it apply, and how does it look.
