• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RS/GS trunk liner

I am thinking about adding a trunk liner before the next season. I am concerned my full face helmet will still fit. It is tight now. There is not much info about adding this so...what do others who have added this accessory think about it?

It was already on my Spyder when I bought it used. I like having it rather then anything I put in there being right up against the inner walls of the trunk. My husband's HJC flip face size L fits in there. My Shoei too. But, mines only an XS. There's still plenty of room to stuff gloves and such in there too. I don't think you'll have a problem getting your full face helmet in there with the liner.

I have one in my 2008 SM5 and I can get my Shoei Multitec full face in though I sometimes have to turn it slightly to fit with my Sena SMH10 attached. Not a problem but it doesn't just drop in. The pockets are handy: relays, pens, registration and insurance, etc.

My HJC modular would fit, But if i had anything wider than a pen in the pockets i would have to shove it in.
So i never put the helmet in. That said the liner it worth the money just to stop things from bouncing around the hard plastic of the trunk.

I had the liners in both my GS and RS. No problem fitting one full face Nolan in either frunk with the liner installed.

The liners are nice, in that they give a finished look to the frunk. Also help from putting scratches on the helmets.

First off Connie and I want to congratulate you and Jennette on the big news. I haven't been on Spyderlovers much lately and when I do I don't visit the Michigan site much at all. I just saw your post yesterday. I don't think we're ever going to know what it's like to be grandparents.

As far as the liner. I have one and my BRP modular snowmobile helmet fits in there but it is snug.
When we get together here soon, if you come down our way bring the helmet and we can try it out.

Thanks Mark. I wanted to thank you for guiding my better half on my x-mas present. I like them a lot. Our prayers are with you and Connie on January sixth. Jeanette is just getting over one surgery (eye) and is having a minor surgery again on the 12th. Once we get past these hiccups in life we will definitely make the trip. If you need anything let us know.
