RPM & Gas Mileage

I bought a brand-new 2011 RT SE 5 and I was wondering what other people were getting for mileage. I filled up and got about 185 miles before I had a top off the tank again. At 65 mph my RPM was around 5000-5200, is this correct or am I supposed to be turning a lower RPM in fifth gear? It just seems a little high in the RPMs. Other spider owners say that their engine is not turning that fast. This is all highway driving not around town any help would be greatly appreciated.

your doing better than mine I have a 2012 and i only get around 160

Relax..!!

your doing great. These are high rpm engines and run better there. Lower will cause undue hardship on the clutch especially the se5's....hyea:hyea:

Seems like your mileage is excellent. I too have been finding that keeping my RPMs in that range seems to result in better mileage.

Just sayin'...........
