There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That was a great price at Menard's. I picked up two gallons and turned in the rebate. $40-7 = $33 for 2 oil changes with really good synthetic. That's a good value in my book. Now have to put on some miles, so that I need to do an oil change

I pay more for dino oil for my truck. chuckle. I didn't read rebate closely, you have to buy 2 gal?

No... rebate is offered on 1 gallon. But at the sale price, bought two anyways. Rebate is limited to 1 gallon, $7 off. Sorry for confusion, should have made that clear... my bad. Isn't the first and won't be the last

Nowhere in the owners manual for the Ryker does it call for JASO MA2

I went to Menards to pick some up at this price, but that price was for T4. T6 was just under $23 a gallon.
That blows. I'll be going next couple days...as I said tv ad. Varies by region etc?

Something is wrong with that store's shelf pricing then... check on it. I paid 19.99 per gallon of T6 last night and their computers scanned that price from their system at the register. Also, they had a red tag covering the regular price on the shelf at that pricepoint. If you buy 1 gallon and use the Rotella rebate, it will bring the cost of a that single gallon down to $13.
Page 96 of owners manual says the recommended engine oil is 4T 5w40 synthetic blend oil. Now, on the oil container, it says in part that this oil has optimum wet clutch operation. I believe the JASO has to do with the friction modifiers for the optimum wet clutch operation. As far as the owners manual not calling for JASO MA2, in so many words, you are correct, but the oil that is recommended is for or can be used in wet clutches to my knowledge. Don’t get me wrong, I would prefer to use an oil without the friction modifiers in my Rykers engine. cueman
I stand corrected, the owners manual did not say to use JASO MA2 oil, but it did say the recommended engine oil is XPS 4T 5w40 synthetic blend oil which, to my knowledge after reading the label, has wet clutch friction modifiers. :dontknow: Use what you want. I will. cueman

Friction modifiers give you better MPG.
I'm from MN saw ad out of station out of MSP station I'm pretty sure.

I just checked on line with their ad and did not see any sale on the T6, but it did come up at $19.99 a gallon when I pulled up the oil at the Eden Prairie store.
