• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rotating Tires

So, am I looking at this correctly?? The fronts are like motorcycle tires and only spin in one direction? I was going to rotate the tires today and it looks like I would have to take them in and have them physically moved from one rim to another. Yes or no...

Thanks

You are seeing it correctly cant just move rims with tires left to right and vice versa

On my other trike I had a rear tire of another cycle mounted on the front ....backwards and it worked well with no problems and had almost 20k miles on it when I sold it and still had over half the tread left. Has anyone ever just tried trading sides ? Maybe it has something to do with tread design and two in front instead of one or maybe BRP hype ? Running a reverse tire on the front is done by a lot of Honda trike riders.

The only problem with running the stock Spyder tires backwards is when it rains. When correctly mounted the tread will move the water from the center to the outside of the tires but if they are backwards they will try to move the water to the center causing possible hydroplane conditions.
