I've been struggling with this all week but didn't expect to buy a new house and move when I signed up for my favorite event of all time - Spyderfest.

I am in the middle of packing and arranging the move and just don't feel right taking a week off.

I will really miss the event and seeing Len and Lamont and all my friends new and old. Hope everyone has a great time.

Plus this way Doc has a chance at the drag strip. LOL

I understand your dilemma, the difficulty of your decision, and your reasons. I sympathize out of familiarity. Our house project and Nancy's illness have us struggling with that decision, too...as well as the logistics if we do attend. You will be missed...hopefully we won't.

I had to miss Durango last year for the same reason so I understand fully. It wasn't just that I felt it wasn't the right thing to do but my wife made it clear that if i went during the middle of the move that my keys wouldn't work when i got back....

I will miss you. You are a special guy I met over dinner in Cuba last year on Thursday night. We are from two completely different lifestyles. That is what made our conversation so interesting.
