• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

rode home at -7 degrees today

Can you just google "Fog City"? I am having :cus: with fogging. I have only tried one type of spray, but not too fond of it. What are these inserts and how do they work?
You can, indeed just Google "fog city". They are a plastic inner shield, that attaches inside your visor to provide an air space. They are also photochromic (self darkening) but most UV protected faceshields will prevent this from working well. There is a good article on WebBike World that explains them. Sometimes a little hard to find, but getting better. My first ones had to be sent to me by a friend in Canada. They are made in Italy. My BMW shop carries them now. I have seen them available on Amazon, too.

Thanks, just went and checked them out.

I did some poking and come to find out the two visors that broke were set up to take a "pinlock" set up that does the same thing as these inserts, but is removable, at least as near as I could tell. Now they tell me.:gaah:

I was freezing last night going 80 MPH at 45F here in Houston. What a wuss! :D

You r the man SethO! :2thumbs:

its all in how you are dressed for it, I have the liner in my castle jacket( which I have been impressed with, an in improvement over my icon timax1, which i swore by) either rain gloves or winter riding gloves, I have a set of technic one of my buddies, a double fleece neck gator and riding a spyder covers alot of the bottom of you, plus I can feel it so let her buck.

got a video made today but can't upload here at work anymore so I will have to put it up tomorrow. Froze my ass off but it was fun, I need to get those electronc gloves I think. I got the temp gauge down to 18.

its going to be -30 or more tonight, rode around doing stuff today, got home at 5am and a switch had gone to crap in my funance, so it was about 35 degrees in my house, great FU to seth, got to tearing into in and found the crap switch, My buddy showed up and helped me out with this.

I went and grabed a new METAL switch from ace which is right on the lake and found that the bigger gloves suck when getting on and off with a wheelchair on it so I am going to go back to my rain gloves that cut all the wind.

I was amazed at how much warmer I was just by having my heated gloves on. It kept my entire upper body warm without any additional heated gear or layers. Of course I was riding on the freeway when it was 41 degrees out which isn't nearly as cold.... but heated gloves sure are awesome. :2thumbs:
