You mentioned undoing the strut when you attached the bag to the seat. Was that so you could run the straps above the strut, or ???

I undid the strut so I could put the straps tight and would not affect raising the seat to fill for gas. 8)

Hey, RocketLady, remember when you let TwistedThrottle take pics of your Spyder with the bags?

I'm considering that tank bag they have (there's a photo a few posts back). Can you describe how (and how easily) the tank bag attached?

I can't tell you very much. I saw the tank bag only sitting on my Spyder. It appeared too small to me. I do not know how it attached. I wasn't interested in it but I really like my seat bag !
